ARTIST BIO

As an artist and body-based energy practitioner, my modalities influence my work stylistically and thematically. I utilize a water-based healing practice called Aquatherics to address the nervous system and work as a Medical Qigong practitioner to guide people through exercises to steadily cultivate energy.  Inner workings of the bioenergetic structures of the body and the subtle shifts that occur through body-based liberation practices are signified through printmaking, textiles, painting, photography and mixed media works.

Through abstraction, I strive to create a skillful transmission of patterns and forces that arise in embodied practices into a visual lexicon of energy systems. I utilize abstraction to translate inner view of inhabiting shape and space. Much of the work also takes the form of abstracted landscapes or symbols of the changing state of the energies in our body and fields as an ode to the seasons of existence and healing.
